Blanket Gently
About half of my hard drive is gone what do I do?
If your answer does not answer my question please do not answer.
When I first got my computer it had a 250GB hard drive minus 20GB for windows It’s been working great except when it got a virus (but got fixed) and now is except for the fact that the total space on my hard drive has gone from 230GB to 127GB. My only theory is that on the way taking my computer to a technician to get the virus removed, a part inside the hard drive got loose but I don’t really see how sitting on a blanket and being moved gently could do that. Just to make it clear, my total space is 127GB not my free space.
This sounds like a question you should direct to the tech who removed your virus, as it has nothing to do with you transporting the machine. Hdds can take a lot of punishment and you were careful. Try them first and see of they can give a logical answer.
