Bridal Comforter
Is it tacky to give both gifts at the shower?
Is it tacky to give both the wedding gift AND the shower gift at the shower?
My husband and I got the couple the Bedding Set that they registered for. The Comforter Set is quite large, and we’d rather not have to deal with it at the wedding reception. For the shower gift, we got them a holiday dish set. Much smaller than a comforter set, but also much heavier. We have an infant, and she does not travel lightly!
Would it been seen as tacky if I just showed up with both at the bridal shower tomorrow?
Not tacky, just explain yourself. No big deal!
If anyone else has a similar problem in the future and the gift can be mailed to the couple’s house, do that. (But I’m guessing the questioner already has both items.)
