In Broadway’s “Beauty and the Beast” how does the beast change back into a human?
I know that the beloved and famed Disney musical was replaced by “The Little Mermaid” at the Lunt-Fontanne Theater and no longer plays, but I still want to know how the actor playing the beast could change his costume while suspended in the air covered only by a thin blanket.
In the actual Broadway production the Beast changes after he let’s Belle go (he’ll change during “A Change in Me” and Mob Song”). The Beast you see during the battle sequence is actually a double.
